  1. For announcements by the Registrar's Office regarding registration for the 2026-2027 Fall Semester, please visit the office's website at https://oidb.hacettepe.edu.tr. Please review these announcements carefully. In particular, we recommend that you carefully read the "Student Course Registration Guide" on the website before starting the registration process.
  2. In addition, please read the Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations in detail under the Regulations and Directives tab at https://oidb.hacettepe.edu.tr.
  3. Starting from the 2016-2017 academic year, prerequisite course requirements have been implemented. Under this system, in order to register for a course that has prerequisite courses, students must first successfully complete those prerequisite courses (prerequisite courses).
  4. Students in their first, second, third, and fourth semesters may take courses totaling a maximum of 30 ECTS credits. Students in subsequent semesters may take courses totaling a maximum of 40 ECTS credits. (Regulation Article 7)
  5. For courses taught jointly by two or more faculty members, course quotas will not be increased until all sections are full.
  6. Students who wish to take courses from other universities must submit their equivalency (course adjustment) request to the department by petition before the semester begins and obtain the approval of the relevant boards.   7. There are 8 sections (21-28) for the first-, second-, and third-year laboratories and 5 sections (21-25) for the fourth-year laboratories. If you cannot register because a section is full, please try other sections. It does not matter which section you register for. Laboratory schedules will be announced by the laboratory coordinators after the semester begins.
  8. The consistency of Course + Lab combinations must be maintained (concurrent courses). A Course + Lab pair must be registered together. If you previously took a Course + Lab pair, failed one and passed the other, you only need to register for the course or lab that you failed.
  9. Compulsory courses cannot be removed. A maximum of three elective courses may be removed. A removed course cannot be taken again. (if, among a course + lab pair taken in the fourth year, one is successfully completed and the other is failed, only the failed course or lab may be removed. The successfully completed course or lab will continue to appear on the transcript; however, it will not be included in the calculation of the total credits that must be completed in the fourth year for graduation.)   10. For each 15-day internship, one of the ELE389 and ELE390 courses must be registered; however, since a grade will be assigned for these courses, ELE389 and ELE390 must be registered after the internships have been completed. For example, if you completed your internship during the summer after finishing your second year, you should register for it in the fall semester of the year in which you begin your third year. If you completed it after your third year, you should register for it in the fall semester of your fourth year. Students who complete an internship during the semester break may register for ELE389 or ELE390 in the following spring semester.
  11. The section number for both ELE389 - Internship 1 and ELE390 - Internship 2 has been set as 1.
  12. TKD103 - Turkish Language I is offered in a virtual classroom environment at https://hadi.hacettepe.edu.tr.
  13. In order for fourth-year students to graduate, while maintaining the consistency of course and laboratory combinations, they must take at least 28 local credits and at least 54 ECTS credits of fourth-year in-field (departmental technical) elective courses, excluding ELE401 and ELE402.
  14. Fourth-year students registering for the ELE401 and ELE402 project courses must enter, as the section number, the section code assigned to the faculty member supervising their project. The list of codes can be found in the "Section Codes for ELE401 - 402 Graduation Project" document shown beside / below.
  15. The compulsory MÜH103 and MÜH104 courses can be accessed in the system under the "Courses Outside the Curriculum/Department" tab. The section number for the MÜH103 and MÜH104 courses to be offered this semester has been set as 1 for our department. (These courses were previously listed in our curriculum as HAS222 and HAS223, respectively; however, as of the spring semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, their course codes were changed to MÜH.)
  16. For students who started the department in the 2014-15 Academic Year or later, ÜNİ101 - Introduction to University Life is compulsory.
  17. Starting from the 2023-24 academic year, several new courses have been added to our undergraduate curriculum and some existing courses have been removed. ELE226, ELE228, ELE246, ELE489, and ELE490 are newly added courses, while ELE220 and ELE244 have been removed from the curriculum. Accordingly, ELE220 is equivalent to ELE226 together with the ELE228 laboratory, and ELE244 is equivalent to ELE246. Students who previously failed ELE220 must take ELE226 and ELE228 together. Similarly, students who failed ELE244 must register for ELE246. Students who have already passed these courses do not need to take their new equivalent courses.
  18. Starting from the 2022-23 academic year, several new courses have been added to our undergraduate curriculum and some existing courses have been removed. ELE109, ELE124, and ELE320 are newly added courses, while ELE107, ELE120, and ELE302 have been removed from the curriculum. Accordingly, ELE107 is equivalent to ELE109, ELE120 is equivalent to ELE124, and ELE302 is equivalent to ELE320. Students who previously failed ELE107, ELE120, or ELE302 must take the corresponding equivalent course. Students who have already passed these courses do not need to take their new equivalent courses.
  19. All students are required to take out-of-field elective courses (such as courses with SEC codes or language courses) during their undergraduate education, consisting of at least 2 courses with a total of at least 7 ECTS credits.
  20. ELE293, ELE294, and ELE296 are service courses offered to other departments; they are not intended for students of our department!

There might be a possibility of some minor changes to be made in the documents. We recommend you to check the documents frequently.
