Double Success for Our Department at the 2025 Hacettepe Awards

As part of the 2025 Hacettepe Awards, presented by Hacettepe University to recognize scientific research and academic excellence, two faculty members of our Department have received prestigious honors in the field of Engineering and Natural Sciences. Prof. Dr. Seniha Esen Yüksel Erdem was honored with the Science Award, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Uyanık received the Science Incentive Award in the same field.
The awards were presented during the 2026–2027 Academic Year Opening Ceremony, held on November 5, 2026, at the M Auditorium of the Cultural Center on Hacettepe University’s Sıhhiye Campus.
Established in 1992, the Hacettepe Awards aim to promote scientific research, recognize outstanding academic achievements, and acknowledge contributions to science while sharing the accomplishments of distinguished researchers with the wider community.
The recognition of two faculty members from our Department with these prestigious awards in the same year, both in the field of Engineering and Natural Sciences, is a significant reflection of our Department’s continued excellence in scientific research and academic productivity.
We sincerely congratulate Prof. Dr. Seniha Esen Yüksel Erdem and Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail Uyanık on their outstanding achievements and wish them continued success in their scientific endeavors.
